Thanks For The Memories

Hello Dear Blogging Friends,

I want to start by thanking all of you for the memories. I have enjoyed sharing with you, and learning from you over the years more than words could ever say...but I just do not have the time anymore to keep my blog up, or visit as often as I would like. My focus is on school and writing and there is little time for much else.

I won't be too far away, and who knows, perhaps when life is less hectic I will return.  Until then, I will be lurking in your windows from time to time and keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

Huge hugs,
Dena

Dear Dena,
I will miss you and I do understand, you are right to focus on school. My sister just completed her Masters Degree and she is 57! Life just takes us in so many differnt directions we don't always have the time to do it all, as much as we would like too.
Much love to you and best wishes in the New Year. Please drop by for a visit now and then.
Big hugs, Elizabeth

bwaaaaaaaaa......

I surely will miss you, sweet girl, but, oh, I do know where you are coming from. Sometimes, when I get really bogged down, I think I need a break but I would never stop blogging completely. What I am saying here is please don't delete your blog as some have done. Just let it be. Then, who knows, when you get rested up and get renewed interest in blogging, it will be simple to start again.
Besides, it is a great place that we can all drop by with a word or two for you.
Hugs and the best of luck with school and your writing.
Much love, bj

Oh dear...I knew you were terribly busy...I just knew it! Please do not go too far away...ok? Drop in on us from time to time...and just say "hi" at least? I have thought about closing my blog down many times as I feel it takes up way too much of my time..but it seems to be a very hard habit to break..and I really do love doing it. It's just sooo time consuming.
School always comes first...and you have a household to run. So much going on in your life...and we probably don't even know the half of it.
We love you, Dena! Come see us when you can...
Love and hugs,
Mona

Dena, I sure hate to see you go. I do understand and have almost come to this conclusion a couple of times myself.

But maybe.... Hopefully.... we'll meet again.

Hi, Dena with the stop-me-in-my-tracks EYES...

To make CORN patties..
To left over corn, add an egg, salt and pepper, grated cheese, peppers, (actually just about anything you like can be added), onions, enuf flour and milk to make a substantial mix, drop by teaspoons into hot enuf grease to fry but not so hot that they get brown on the outside but not done in the middle.
You can do this with left over mashed potatoes, too. yummy

Dena, thank you for stopping in. If you are in Dallas and Canton isn't on
there are a great number of shops near by. Let me know when you are planning on going and I will give you some nice store to check out. Sorry I didn't get to know you until just now. You are doing the right thing in this time of your life. I have a hard time blogging as much as I would like to. It does take time and it seems like there is not enough for blogging and reading blogs for me right now either. Blessing to you and stop in once in a while. sandi
